James Fraser

James Fraser has over 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. From 2006 to 2008, they were employed at Chesapeake Energy as Vice President of the Southern Division. James then moved to Talisman Energy, where they were Senior Vice President of the NA Shale Division from 2008 to 2012. From 2012 to 2016, they were President and Owner of Fraser Consulting Inc., providing management, engineering, and operating consulting services to the oil and gas industry, specializing in unconventional resource plays across North America. Finally, from 2016 to 2023, they were President, CEO, and Founder of RimRock Oil & Gas. James is now retired from RimRock Oil & Gas.

James Fraser attended Regis University from 1989 to 1991, where they earned an MBA in Finance. After this, they attended Montana Tech, where they earned a BS in Petroleum Engineering.
