Richard Denning has extensive experience in risk management and consultancy, currently serving as a Lecturer at RIMS since 1996 and as President of Shelter Island Risk Services since June 1994. Shelter Island Risk Services is known for integrating information systems with analytical methods to address real risk management challenges. Richard Denning's past roles include President at Gallagher Bassett from 2005 to 2010 and at Crawford & Company from 1986 to 1994, as well as President of Risk Sciences Group during two separate periods, 1980 to 1994. Earlier experience includes Operating Manager at Anistics from 1974 to 1980. Richard Denning holds a JD in Corporate Law from Fordham University School of Law, an MBA in Quantitative Methods from New York University, and a BS in Metallurgy and Materials Science from Case Western Reserve University.
