Alison Wilshaw

Alison Wilshaw is an accomplished professional in the renewable energy sector with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Head of Renewables for Northern Europe at RINA since March 2018, Alison has held various significant roles, including Senior Technical Manager and Principal Consultant. Prior experience includes positions at DNV GL and OST Energy, where Alison led the Northern Europe Solar Rooftop Section and provided technical consultancy for renewable energy projects. Alison's earlier career involved technical advisory work at Thames Valley Energy, assessment of microgeneration schemes at the Building Research Establishment, and engineering roles at IT Power and the University of Northumbria. Alison holds a PhD in Building Integrated Photovoltaics from Northumbria University and a BEng in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from Coventry University.
