Jacobus Varossieau is a seasoned professional in the maritime industry with extensive experience in operations and business development. Currently serving as the Business Development Manager for Marine at RINA since April 2021, Jacobus previously held key positions at Nordic Hamburg Shipmanagement GmbH & Co. KG, including Senior Operations Manager and Operations & Insurance Manager. Jacobus has a strong background in coordinating operational processes, leading teams, and optimizing procedures across various companies, including E.R. Schiffahrt GmbH Cie. KG and Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement. With a Bachelor’s degree in maritime sciences from the Maritime Institute “De Ruyter,” Jacobus also has foundational experience as a Deck Officer and ship operator, further solidifying expertise in the maritime sector.
