Marco Scopaz

Marco Scopaz has extensive experience in marine management and surveying, currently serving as a Project Manager and Site Manager at RINA since August 2005. Key accomplishments include the classification of nine LNG powered cruise ships and overseeing the construction of two additional cruise ships at Mitsubishi Yard. Scopaz has held various leadership roles, including Head of the Ravenna Office and Head of the Piraeus Office, managing teams of surveyors and conducting inspections for ships in service. Prior to the current role, Scopaz worked at Carnival Corporation as a Marine Surveyor, leading the machinery owner survey for new cruise ship constructions. Scopaz also has experience as a Marine Surveyor at RINA earlier in the career, focusing on both service and new building inspections. Education was obtained at Trieste Nautical School.
