Ruben de Girardier

Ruben de Girardier is a seasoned professional in the power and energy sector with extensive experience in grid and storage consulting. Currently serving as a Senior Grid and Storage Consultant at RINA since January 2023 and as the Co-founder and CTO of E-Safiri since February 2021, Ruben de Girardier has demonstrated leadership and technical expertise. Previous roles include Power System & Energy Storage Engineer at InnoVent from June 2018 to December 2022, where key contributions involved leading microgrid projects, and Electrical Engineer at Aurecon from February 2016 to June 2017, focusing on electrical, control, and instrumentation design for various infrastructure projects. Ruben de Girardier holds an MSc in Future Power Networks from Imperial College London and a BSc (Hons) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Cape Town.
