Asha Pluton

Asha Pluton is a skilled biologist and assistant project manager at Rincon Consultants, Inc. since March 2024 and serves as treasurer elect for the American Fisheries Society Cal-Neva since May 2025. From January 2019 to March 2024, Asha worked as an environmental scientist at the California Department of Water Resources, focusing on biotelemetry and special investigations, after previously contributing as a scientific aide in water quality research. Asha also held the position of head swim coach for the DIXON DOLPHINS SWIM TEAM from September 2019 to October 2021, and worked as a scientific aide at the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, focusing on fish data collection through public interaction in late 2018. Asha's earlier experience includes a public outreach intern role at the Solano Resource Conservation District, where education on oil spill prevention was emphasized. Asha holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife, Fish, and Conservation Biology from the University of California, Davis, completed in 2018.
