Greg Ainsworth

Greg Ainsworth serves as the Director of Natural Resources & Urban Forestry at Rincon Consultants, Inc. since November 2020. Previous positions include Camarillo Office Director at Environmental Science Associates from March 2009 to November 2020, and Director of Biological Resources and Land Management at Impact Sciences from May 2004 to March 2009. Early career experience includes roles as Senior Biologist at Impact Sciences, Associate Biologist at ENSR (now AECOM), and Environmental Scientist at Rincon Consultants, Inc. Ainsworth’s work as an Efficacy Biologist at Pacific Agricultural Research Group involved managing research teams and conducting significant research on agricultural practices and ecosystems. Ainsworth's career began as a wildland firefighter with the U.S. Forest Service. Educational qualifications include a Master of City and Regional Planning with a concentration in Environmental Planning and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Horticulture Science with a focus on Plant Protection and Restoration, both obtained from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
