Mark Strother is a highly experienced Senior Archaeologist and Project Manager at Rincon Consultants, Inc. since June 2016, specializing in compliance monitoring and heritage recovery throughout southern and central California. Currently affiliated with NOAA Fisheries, Mark supports the development of Programmatic Agreements for the Pacific Coastal Salmon Recovery Fund grant program. Additionally, Mark serves as an in-house consultant for SoCalGas, providing cultural resources support for various major projects. Previous experience includes roles as a Field Archaeologist at HELIX Environmental Planning, AECOM, NWB Environmental Services, and Far Western Anthropological Research Group. Mark's academic credentials include a Master of Arts in Anthropology from San Diego State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Indiana University Bloomington, graduating summa cum laude.
