Jesse Bartels

Jesse Bartels is a Software Engineer at Rincon Research Corporation since January 2020, focusing on digital signal processing and IoT protocols. Concurrently, Bartels has been involved with the University of Arizona since May 2015 as an Undergraduate/Graduate Researcher under Dr. Saumya Debray, contributing to dynamic and control flow analysis. Experience includes serving as a Graduate Teacher's Assistant, leading discussions and assisting students in compiler coursework, and managing the computer science department's website overhaul using Drupal. As a Section Leader for five semesters, Bartels developed rubrics and managed section leaders while also directing the section leader program as Coordinator. Previous internships at Rincon Research Corporation and Sandia National Laboratories provided experience in RF geolocation and micro-service application development. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, both from the University of Arizona.
