Eric Cooper is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in information security and systems engineering. Currently serving as Sr. Manager IT at Ring since March 2018, Eric leads global IT Security, Tooling, and Site Support teams, focusing on Identity and Access Management (IAM), SaaS, datacenter tools, and security automation. Prior to this, Eric held notable positions such as VP of Information Security at BofI Federal Bank for a brief tenure in 2017 and Senior VP, Information Security Officer at First Allied Securities from November 2006 to May 2017. Eric's earlier roles include Systems Engineering Manager at Cetera Financial Group, Sr. Systems Engineer at both Insurance Company of the West and Sempra Global, and Messaging Team Lead at American Red Cross. Eric holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services from James Madison University, earned between 1989 and 1993.
