Lead Product Manager at RingCentral

Alexey Sheremetov has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Alexey started their career as a Web Developer at Promo Interactive in 2012, where they worked on business logic implementation and pay-services integration for multiple websites. In 2013, they joined Concern CSRI Elektropribor, JSC as an Engineer, managing a team and ensuring seamless interaction with outsourcing contractors and state customers. Alexey then moved to Netwrix Corporation in 2016 as a Product Analyst, responsible for development cycle support and research for new opportunities.

In 2018, Alexey worked as a Product Manager at UNESCO Astrakhan, focusing on increasing the organization's market awareness and workflow optimization. Alexey successfully implemented a document workflow automation project and mapped industry regulations on project management application service capabilities. Alongside their role at UNESCO, they also provided IT Analyst services as a freelancer, assisting three startups with product discovery and optimizing their business models.

In 2020, Alexey joined Gazprom Neft as a Product Manager, responsible for the in-house cloud ML-development platform. Alexey elaborated the platform from prototype to MVP and helped the team grow from 3 to 8 people. Additionally, they served as a Project Manager, developing project roadmaps, managing risks, and implementing lean-agile procurement procedures.

Most recently, Alexey worked at RingCentral, starting as a Product Manager in 2021. Alexey launched the MVP of a real-time video conferencing live-transcription feature and increased customer satisfaction rates by analyzing product metrics pyramid. Alexey then took on the role of Senior Product Manager, managing three AI-powered products for video conferencing and phone calls. Alexey facilitated the development and launch of the Advanced Meeting Insights feature. Currently, they hold the position of Lead Product Manager at RingCentral, where they launched an AI-based conversation intelligence platform for sales, entering the $1B market. Alexey established a product discovery process and maintained a focus group of over 200 users.

Alexey Sheremetov earned their Master's degree in Information and Communication Technology from St. Petersburg State Polytechnic University, Saint Petersburg, from 2005 to 2011. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have obtained several certifications, including Data Driven Marketing from Paper Planes Consulting Agency in December 2020, Product Management from Product University in November 2019, and Google Analytics Individual Qualification from Google in June 2020.
