Muhammad Farhan Ahmed has extensive work experience in the field of telecommunications. Muhammad Farhan started their career as an Assistant Divisional Engineer at PTCL in 2002 and worked there until 2006. Muhammad Farhan then joined National Engineers as a Senior Network Engineer, where they provided support for the deployment of Sonus Class-IV solution integrated with Motorola IMS at Wateen Telecom. In 2007, they joined Sonus Networks and held roles as a Senior Network Engineer and later as a Principal System Integration Consultant until 2017. At Sonus Networks, they gained expertise in network integration, troubleshooting, and implementing routing database changes. From 2017 to 2022, they served as a System Integration Architect at Ribbon Communications, where they were responsible for designing database architecture, integrating Ribbon SBCs with various platforms, and implementing solutions such as IP Centrex and Trunking Solution. Currently, they are working at RingCentral as a Systems Principal Solution Architect, specializing in Voice Cloud Ops.

Muhammad Farhan Ahmed obtained a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree in Communications from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, from 1995 to 2000. Muhammad Farhan also pursued a Masters in Computer Systems Engineering from the same university from 2001 to 2003. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in June 2020. Muhammad Farhan also received certifications such as Beginner’s Guide to Containers and Orchestration, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Openstack Essentials, Python 3 Scripting for System Administrators, CompTIA Cloud Essentials Certification - Legacy, Cloud Essentials, MCSE 2003 (from Microsoft), and SCJP- Sun Certified Java Programmer (from Sun) at various points in time.
