Simen Short

Simen Short is an experienced fire service professional currently serving as a Fire Captain at Ringerike kommune since July 2023, where responsibilities include leading the response team during various operations, as well as overseeing training and equipment checks. Prior to this role, Simen Short held multiple positions at INDRE ØSTFOLD BRANN OG REDNING IKS from January 2016 to July 2023, including Fire Captain and Station Leader, and also served as an Overfire Chief and Fire Inspector. Additional roles have included a firefighter with specialized skills in smoke and chemical diving at Follo Brannvesen IKS and Asker and Bærum Brann og Redning IKS.
