Emily Bogue

Co-Founder and CTO at Ringlet

Emily Bogue has a diverse work experience ranging from being a Co-Founder and CTO at Ringlet, to being a Computer Scientist at Adobe. Emily played a key role in bringing Photoshop to iOS, including presenting Photoshop for iPad at its launch. Emily also improved development processes and architectured an iOS UI Test automation framework. Prior to Adobe, Emily worked as an Annual Instructor/Leadership Co-Coordinator at the Talent Development Institute, where they designed and instructed classes for gifted and talented children. Emily has also worked as a Quality Assurance Analyst at Aviary Inc, a Designer/Illustrator (Freelance) at CITY GRIT NYC, and an Undercover Evaluator at Norton Norris. Additionally, Emily has experience as a Programming and Communications Coordinator at Queen Sofía Spanish Institute, a Classroom & Private Tutor at Revolution Prep, and an Assistant to Curriculum Coordinator at Wellesley College. Emily has even provided summer support at DARPA for scientific and analytical projects. Overall, Emily's experience showcases their expertise in technology, leadership, and education.

Emily Bogue completed their undergraduate studies from 2004 to 2008 at Wellesley College, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. Emily'smajor fields of study were Cognitive Science & Linguistics, French, and Russian. In 2006 and 2007, they pursued a Junior Year Abroad program at Université de Provence Aix-Marseille, focusing on French, Neurolinguistics, and Russian. In 2010 to 2013, they obtained a Certificate of Completion in the Improvisational Comedy Core Curriculum from Upright Citizens' Brigade. Later, in 2015, they enrolled at New York University to complete an Intensive Introduction to Graduate Study in Computer Science. Additionally, in the same year, they earned a Certificate in iOS App Development from NYU School of Professional Studies with a specialization in Swift.
