Michael Phillippi

Michael Phillippi is a seasoned professional in game art and illustration with extensive experience in the gaming, publishing, and computer game industries, particularly in the Sci-Fi and Fantasy genres. Currently serving as a Professor of Game Art at Ringling College of Art and Design since August 2017, Michael has also freelanced as an Illustrator and Concept Designer since 1997, working with notable companies such as Wizards of the Coast. Previous roles include Co-Owner and Concept Artist at The Source LLC, Senior Concept Artist at both Shiver Entertainment and Mythic (EA Studio), and Lead Concept Artist for Warhammer Online. Michael's academic background includes a Master of Fine Arts in Illustration and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sequential Art from the Savannah College of Art and Design, where also taught various illustration courses.
