Katie Monachos, AIA, is a seasoned architectural professional with significant experience in residential practice. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Residential Practice Leader at RINKA since March 2016, Katie has held various leadership roles within the firm, including Project Manager and Senior Architect. Prior to this, Katie worked at bKL Architecture LLC as an Associate and Architectural Designer, and at Landon Bone Baker Architects as an Architectural Designer. Early professional experience includes positions at Skidmore Owings & Merrill LLP as an Architectural Designer and at Paul Preissner Architects, where Katie began as an Architectural Intern. Additionally, Katie contributed as Visiting Faculty at The Art Institute of Chicago, teaching a 3D modeling program. Katie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of Illinois Chicago, earned in 2006.
