Jamie Gorton, SPHR

Jamie Gorton, SPHR has over 20 years of experience in Human Resources. From 2002 to 2018, Gorton worked for Whole Foods Market, where they held multiple roles, including Human Resources & Operations Lead, where they were responsible for navigating a large, complex retail environment with oversight of up to 600 team members and serving as second-in-command of stores. In 2018, Gorton joined bitFlyer Group as Head of HR / Chief of Staff and HR Manager. In this role, Gorton was charged with building and scaling the HR department from the ground up, and was responsible for the full lifecycle recruiting process, performance management, payroll and benefits, role/wage benchmarking, employee engagement, office management, HR risk and compliance management, legal, and immigration administration. In 2021, Gorton took a paternity leave. Gorton currently serves as the Director of People Operations and HR at Rinse, a position they have held since 2022.

Jamie Gorton obtained a SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) in December 2018.
