Christina Benitez

Christina Benitez is an accomplished public speaker and music educator, currently serving at Rio Grande City Consolidated Independent School District since August 2020. As the owner of BenMar Music since January 2006, Christina has earned recognition as a 2013 Latin Grammy Winner for Best Children's Album and has contributed as a producer and recording engineer. Additionally, Christina is the owner and founder of Vidaurri Swimwear, LLC, a fashion brand established in 2014. Previous experience includes roles as a band director at Lamar Consolidated ISD and North Shore Senior High School, along with education credentials including a Bachelor of Music and a Master of Music from the University of North Texas and Texas A&M University, respectively.
