Channing Kemper is a experienced professional in the mortgage and legal sectors, currently serving as a Mortgage Loan Originator at Rio Grande Credit Union since September 2022, with prior experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer at Finance of America Mortgage from July 2019 to September 2022. Certified in both New Mexico and California, Channing has cultivated a diverse skill set through various roles, including Legal Assistant and Business Manager at Garcia Ives Nowara, Hospitality Operator at Los Poblanos Historic Inn & Organic Farm, and Operations Manager at Kelly’s Pharmacy. Channing holds a Bachelor's degree in Professional, Technical, Business, and Scientific Writing from The University of New Mexico and briefly attended Thomas Jefferson School of Law.

Rio Grande Credit Union was started by City of Albuquerque employees in 1953. Since that time, we have merged with San Ignacio Credit Union and the Albuquerque VA Federal Credit Union and New Mexico Central Credit Union. In addition to these fine organizations, we also serve employees, volunteers, residents and members of numerous companies, nonprofit organizations and neighborhood associations.
