Kassandra Guajardo currently serves as an Infection Control Practitioner at Rio Grande Regional Hospital since June 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist at Mission Regional Medical Center from March 2023 to May 2024 and at Rio Grande Regional Hospital from June 2019 to September 2020, as well as a Microbiologist II with the Texas Department of State Health Services from August 2022 to June 2023. Kassandra also worked as a COVID Epidemiology Technologist for Hidalgo County, Texas, from September 2020 to July 2022, and as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist at South Texas Health System from June 2018 to June 2019. Kassandra holds a Master of Business Administration in Health/Health Care Administration/Management and a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, along with an Associate of Science in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies from South Texas College.
