Darius H. Bone is an accomplished law enforcement professional and educator with extensive experience in both academic and practical applications of criminal justice. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at Mt. San Antonio College and East Los Angeles College, and an Academy Instructor at Rio Hondo College, Darius provides essential training for academy recruits in accordance with California Police Officer Standards and Training. As a Lieutenant II with LAPD since 1993, Darius has held various leadership roles, including Watch Commander and Officer-in-Charge of the Employment Litigation Unit, contributing to crime mitigation strategies and legal support for the city. Additionally, Darius has served as a Human Factors Facilitator for National Command & Staff College, focusing on continuous learning for law enforcement professionals. Darius holds a Master’s Degree in Negotiation and Conflict Management from California State University, Dominguez Hills, and a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from DeVry Institute of Technology.
