Diego Silva

Diego Silva is an experienced professional with a diverse background in higher education, marketing, and student affairs. Currently serving as the Coordinator/Counselor for CalWORKs at Rio Hondo College since December 2018, Diego manages daily operations, oversees staff, and provides academic counseling. In parallel, Diego works as an Affiliate in Sales & Marketing at Big Time Promotions, Inc., focusing on lead generation. As the Owner of DRS Marketing, Diego offers branding and marketing solutions, particularly for small businesses and Spanish-speaking clients. Previous roles include serving as Associate Director of Student Life at Occidental College, Coordinator of Fraternity & Sorority Life at Cal Poly State University, and managing voter outreach for the Meg Whitman for Governor campaign. Diego holds a Master's Degree in Higher Education Administration from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and a Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies from California State University, Los Angeles.
