Abbas Haider Khan

Abbas Haider Khan is an experienced professional in facilities management and commercial contracting, currently serving as a Specialist in Facilities Management at Rio Tinto since February 2024. Prior to this, Abbas held various key positions at Pilbara Ports Authority, including Senior Commercial Specialist and Commercial Specialist, as well as leading contracts administration at Qatargas and advising on tendering and procurement at RasGas. Abbas's expertise includes managing contract activities, enhancing procurement processes, and mentoring staff in commercial operations. Abbas's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management, complemented by a certification as a Contract and Commercial Management Expert from the International Association for Contract & Commercial Management.
