Brock Rysdahl

Brock Rysdahl is a seasoned Senior Hydrogeologist at Rio Tinto since November 2017, with prior experience as a Geotechnical Engineer in both Minerals Integration and Minerals Technical roles. Previously, Rysdahl worked as a Geotechnical Engineer at SRK Consulting and contributed to innovative sub-level cave flow modeling to enhance mining production plans. Rysdahl's academic background includes a Master of Science in Underground Construction and Tunneling from Colorado School of Mines and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota Duluth, where engagement included research on tunneling techniques and teaching assistance in soil and rock mechanics labs. Additional experience includes mining engineering, undergraduate research, and laboratory operations across various organizations.
