Clayton Walker has an extensive career in the mining and operations sector, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer for Copper at Rio Tinto since October 2001. Walker also holds leadership positions including President and Executive Chairman at Iron Ore Company of Canada and has previously functioned as Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer for Pilbara Supply Chain, Chief Operating Officer for Kennecott Copper, and General Manager roles at Greens Creek and Spring Creek. Additional professional engagements include memberships on the boards of the Natural History Museum of Utah, National Association of Manufacturers, and Copper Development Association Inc. Walker earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Utah between 2000 and 2002 and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Metallurgical Engineering from the same institution, graduating in 1995.
