Ewan Botterill

Ewan Botterill is a seasoned environmental and social performance professional with extensive experience at Rio Tinto since October 2011. Ewan has held various leadership roles, including Lead Engagement Delivery for Traditional Owner Partnerships and Business Partner & Manager in Communities & Social Performance. Ewan's work focuses on operational support, stakeholder engagement, and environmental management within the Pilbara region. Ewan's responsibilities have encompassed team development, risk management, compliance monitoring, and delivering environmental projects. Prior to Rio Tinto, Ewan worked at Parsons Brinckerhoff in roles such as Senior Environmental Scientist and Environmental Project Manager. Ewan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from Murdoch University.
