Jason Fortescue

Jason Fortescue is a seasoned planning professional with extensive experience in the energy and resources sectors. Currently serving as a Principal Advisor Planning at Rio Tinto since August 2022, Jason has held several significant roles including Functional Lead Planner and Lead Planner at Santos Ltd, contributing to the Santos GLNG Upstream Development Project. Additional experience includes positions as Senior Planner at Fluor and WorleyParsons, and Corporate Planner at Yancoal Australia Ltd, among others. Jason holds a Master of Business Administration from the Australian Institute of Business, and an Instrument Fitter qualification from the RAAF School of Technical Training.
