Jason Garner

Jason Garner is an experienced professional in project controls and management, currently serving as a Project Controller at Rio Tinto since June 2023. Prior to this role, Jason worked at Turner & Townsend from June 2016 to June 2023, where responsibilities included leading mining and metals capital projects as both Director and Associate Director, as well as focusing on planning and scheduling for various mining and onshore oil and gas projects as a Senior Consultant. Jason’s earlier experience includes consulting for Shell Oil with Cenergy International Services, and roles at KS Industries and Truesdell Corporation, emphasizing construction planning and project engineering. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Brigham Young University - Idaho, earned between 2007 and 2011.
