Jérôme Pécresse

Jérôme Pécresse is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the energy and aluminium sectors. Currently serving as Chief Executive Aluminium at Rio Tinto since October 2023, Jérôme oversees a market-leading aluminium product group known for producing high-quality certified responsible aluminium across 23 sites. Prior to this role, Jérôme held various key positions at GE, including Senior Vice President of Energy Transition, where direct collaboration with CEO Larry Culp focused on developing new business opportunities, and President & CEO of GE Renewable Energy, overseeing a comprehensive renewable energy portfolio. Earlier in Jérôme's career, as President of Alstom Renewable Power Sector, a new business unit was created that employed nearly 10,000 individuals and achieved around €2 billion in sales. Additionally, Jérôme served as Executive Vice President at Alstom.
