Leisa Turner has over 15 years of experience in environmental management, currently serving as the Manager Environment & Heritage APAC - D&T Projects at Rio Tinto since May 2009. In this role, Leisa has held several positions, including Principal Advisor Projects - Cultural Heritage Liaison and Environmental Specialist, overseeing various significant projects such as the Coastal Water Project and several projects in the Yandicoogina area. Prior to Rio Tinto, Leisa worked as an Environmental Coordinator at Windimurra Vanadium and held multiple Environmental Advisor roles at BHP Billiton and Western Mining Corporation. Leisa holds a Master's in Resource and Economic Law from The University of Western Australia and a Master of Environmental Management from Charles Sturt University, alongside degrees in Biological Science and education.
