Marnie Pascoe

Marnie Pascoe currently serves as Chief Advisor for the Major Hazards Surface Mining Centre of Excellence at Rio Tinto since September 2017, leading a team of experts in geotechnics, water management, and tailings storage. Previously, Marnie held several key roles, including Chief Advisor for Group Technical Assurance and Chief Advisor in Geotechnical Engineering at AMC Consultants, along with experience as Principal Engineer in Global Technology at BHP Billiton and Geotechnical Superintendent at WMC Resources' Olympic Dam Mine. Marnie's extensive background includes roles at AMC Consultants as Senior Geotechnical Geologist and at BHP as Geotechnical Geologist for the Cannington Mine, among other positions in the field. Educational qualifications include a BSc (Hons) in Geology from The University of Western Australia and ongoing involvement with the National Youth Science Forum.
