Nosipho Shongwe

Nosipho Shongwe serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Richards Bay Minerals since April 2021, where responsibilities include financial stewardship and leadership of the finance function. Prior to this role, Nosipho held the position of Senior Commercial Manager at De Beers South Africa from May 2017 to March 2021, overseeing CFO aspects of Venetia Mine and promoting safety and health initiatives. From August 2015 to April 2017, Nosipho worked as the Group Financial Analysis and Performance Manager at Massmart, focusing on budget consolidation and financial analysis. Nosipho's earlier experience includes serving as Financial Executive at Barloworld Agriculture, where management accounts and audits were prepared, and as Financial Controller for Africa at Business Connexion, leading financial reporting and budgeting processes. Nosipho holds a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from Wits University, completed in 2004.
