Barbara Ridgway

Barbara Ridgway is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in real estate finance. Currently serving as AVP Real Estate Finance at RioCan Real Estate Investment Trust since March 2000, Barbara is responsible for managing secured debt for an $11.5 billion portfolio of institutional-grade investment properties across Canada. Prior to this role, Barbara was an Account Manager at ING Investment Management from 1996 to 1999, overseeing the origination and underwriting of mortgage loans and renewals nationwide. Barbara's career began as a Mortgage Analyst at Imperial Life between 1993 and 1996, where responsibilities included underwriting and supporting Account Managers in the mortgage loan process in Ontario. Barbara holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Western University, obtained from 1987 to 1991.
