Chuck Bornhoeft

Chuck Bornhoeft has over 20 years of experience in the field of quality assurance and operations. Chuck currently holds the position of Vice President of Quality Operations at Rion, a role they have been serving in since August 2022. Prior to this, they were the Director of Quality Assurance at Rion from July 2021 to August 2022.

Before joining Rion, Chuck worked at Upsher-Smith Laboratories, LLC for 16 years, where they held various roles including Associate Director - Quality Assurance, Manager, Sr. Supervisor, Supervisor, Sr. Quality Specialist, and Quality Specialist. Chuck joined Upsher-Smith Laboratories, LLC in July 2005 and left in June 2021.

In addition to their experience at Upsher-Smith Laboratories, LLC, Chuck also worked at GBSC - Johnson & Johnson as a Quality Specialist from November 2004 to June 2005, and at Centocor as an Associate Scientist II from September 2001 to November 2004.

Chuck is also a member of the RAQAB (Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance Branch) at the Parenteral Drug Association (PDA), which they joined in July 2022.

Chuck Bornhoeft received their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. Chuck went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Chemistry at Villanova University from 2002 to 2005.
