Daniel Chen is a seasoned professional with diverse experience spanning multiple industries. Currently serving as a Data Scientist and Management Analyst at Rios Partners since February 2020, Daniel developed algorithms for optimizing the distribution of PPE within the Veterans Administration, outperforming competitors. Prior experience includes working as a Mariner at AZIMUTH OFFSHORE, where Daniel refurbished a crab boat for salmon tendering, and serving as a Student Intern at Santa Cruz Veterans Services, assisting veterans with benefits and organizing fundraising events. Daniel also served in the US Navy as a Submarine Electronics Technician and Diver, overseeing critical navigation equipment and diving operations. Earlier culinary roles as Lead Chef at Masa's and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts highlight Daniel's leadership and creativity, contributing to culinary excellence recognized by a Michelin Star. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Math from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
