Daniel Kim is an accomplished sound designer with extensive experience in the video game industry. Currently serving as Sound Designer II at Riot Games since September 2019, Daniel specializes in designing sounds for Champion skins and events in League of Legends. Prior roles include Sound Designer I, where responsibilities involved recording and editing sounds for the game. In addition to work at Riot Games, Daniel has been a Conference Associate for the Game Developers Conference since March 2018, contributing to the successful CA Mentor Program and ensuring a smooth experience for over 29,000 attendees. Previous roles include Sound Designer, Composer, and Audio Implementer for Gamers for Good and Daniel Kim Audio, as well as Audio Sub Lead at the Videogame Development Association. Daniel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Theory and Composition from California State University, Long Beach.
