Mike Heywood

Mike Heywood is an experienced product manager currently serving as Principal Product Manager and Program Lead for the Riot XP Team at Riot Games since October 2022. Prior to this role, Mike held the position of Senior Product Manager for World of Warcraft at Blizzard Entertainment from August 2021 to October 2022. Mike’s experience at Activision Blizzard includes a rotational management role with responsibilities in various areas such as commercial strategy, product management for Call of Duty Mobile, and overseeing esports product strategy. An MBA candidate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Sloan School of Management from 2017 to 2019, Mike also has a solid background in digital strategy and transformation, having worked at The Boston Consulting Group. Earlier professional roles include management and research positions at CoStar Group and an internship in the office of Senator Sheldon Whitehouse. Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Boston College.
