Ying Liu Hatch

Ying Liu Hatch is a bilingual screenwriter with extensive experience in both film and game writing. Currently serving as a bilingual screenwriter at Riot Games since September 2022, Ying explores IP story adaptation directions for the company in China. Ongoing projects include writing a spin-off show for "The Three-Body Universe," based on Cixin Liu's renowned sci-fi trilogy, and previous roles include adapting the BBC show "Doctor Foster" for Tencent. Ying's background features diverse contributions to various productions, such as creating animated shows and original scripts, with a notable career highlighted by co-founding Antong Films and developing a Chinese sci-fi romantic musical titled “REWIND.” Ying holds an MFA from the University of Southern California and a BA in Psychology from Harvard University, along with specialized training in game writing.
