Ashlie Swicker

Ashlie Swicker is a dedicated education professional with a strong background in early childhood education and library media. Currently serving as a Library Media Specialist at Frances Drake Elementary School since August 2017, Ashlie also contributes as a writer for Book Riot, focusing on book-related themes, particularly in children's and young adult literature. Prior experience includes a position as an Early Childhood Educator at Leominster Public Schools, where Ashlie taught students in kindergarten and first grade, including those with disabilities, while also managing Individual Education Plans and instructional differentiation. Ashlie holds a Master of Education in Early Childhood Education from Salem State University and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Fitchburg State University.
