Rui Costa

Rui Costa has worked in the tech industry since 2012. In 2012, they worked as a Hardware Technician (Intern) at Portugal Interactivo. In 2013, they worked as a Web Developer (Intern) at CIIMAR, where they developed the company's internal portal, including frontend development with HTML + CSS + JavaScript + JQuery, PHP (MVC using CodeIgniter Framework), and MySQL. Rui also updated and developed some of the webpages for events to support multiple languages. In 2015, they held the role of CTO at Brandmeup. In 2016, they worked as CTO at Newton.ai. In 2019, they worked as a Software Engineer at ASIMILY. In 2020, they worked as the Chief Technology Officer at LearningPal, Inc. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer at Ripcord.

Rui Costa obtained a Professional Course in Management & IT from Escola Secundária da Maia from 2009 to 2012. Rui then obtained a Technical Specialization in Network Management and Systems from ATEC from 2012 to 2013. In 2013, Rui Costa obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto, which they completed in 2016. Additionally, Rui Costa has obtained four certifications: Kali Linux, Ethical Hacking and Pen Testing for Beginners from Udemy in March 2021, Security in Node.js with Express and Angular from Udemy in December 2020, and two CCNA certifications from Cisco in July 2013.
