Ripple Effect is seeking multiple media professionals to join our team and play a critical role in supporting the groundbreaking work of the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) within the National Institutes of Health (NIH). 

In this role, you will be at the forefront of communicating ARPA-H funded advancements. You will build strategies to deliver information for driving external engagement with ARPA-H’s achievements. You will catalyze the work of ARPANET-H, a nationwide health innovation network created by ARPA-H to rapidly create and transition lifechanging health solutions to improve the lives of all Americans.

  • Salary Range: $84,252 - $134,804 (how we pay and promote)

Responsibilities

  • Develop communications plans and offer strategic recommendations for improved content and delivery of agency information.
  • Draft press releases, backgrounders, talking points, slides, eblast/newsletter copies, memos, and reports for intended audiences.
  • Develop and maintain contacts with key stakeholders at ARPA-H, research institutions and media. May serve as press officer for the Media Office.
  • Coordinate media trainings and interview requests.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies and campaigns that drive engagement among professional audiences with ARPA-H's brand, content, events, funding opportunities, and employment needs.
  • Monitor, continuously improve, and report marketing campaign performance.
  • Assist with engagement communication, logistics, scheduling, and strategic planning.
  • Develop and implement engagement strategies for ARPANET-H. Plan and track ARPANET-H events. Create and coordinate messaging with the ARPANET-H Hubs around ARPANET-H projects.
