Mike Wertheim

Mike Wertheim is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in product security and software development, holding the position of Staff Product Security Engineer at Ripple since March 2019. At Ripple, Mike has conducted security assessments and threat modeling of microservices, addressing various security deficiencies. Previously, Mike served as a Senior Software Engineer at LendingClub, leading a complex project to enhance the security of user authentication credentials and optimizing performance of an encryption library. With a solid foundation in backend development, Mike has also contributed to LinkedIn's Learning platform, created a contextualized search system at Rank Dynamics, and developed various applications across multiple organizations. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
