Tyler Petty

Tyler Petty is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in cloud security and information security management. Currently serving as a Staff Cloud Security Engineer at Ripple since August 2022, Tyler specializes in designing and implementing security solutions within engineering workflows. In addition, Tyler instructs the Amazon Cloud Attack & Defend bootcamp at Pwned Labs, focusing on AWS penetration testing and cybersecurity training. Prior roles include Director of Security Strategy and Program Management at REEF, where Tyler built and led a comprehensive cybersecurity program, and Manager of Information Security at Procore Technologies, where technical expertise was applied to security tooling and project management. With a Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security from Bellevue University and multiple certifications from SANS Technology Institute, including Cloud Security & DevSecOps Automation, Tyler possesses a strong educational foundation to complement practical experience in high-pressure environments, such as the Nebraska Army National Guard.
