Carina Hägglund

Carina Huerta is currently an Associate Quality Engineer at Medline Industries, LP, a position held since August 2024. Prior experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant for the BioInstrumentation Lab and Introduction to Engineering Design at the University of Illinois Chicago College of Engineering, where responsibilities involved guiding students through laboratory work and managing 3D printers. Carina gained practical experience as a Quality Engineering Intern at Medline Industries, LP, developing a master part guide for wheelchairs and verifying wheelchair accessories. Additionally, Carina contributed as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Illinois Chicago Rehabilitation Robotics Lab and had various roles including Retail Cashier at Delaware North and Sprint Intern at Kavi Global. Carina holds a degree from the University of Illinois Chicago, alongside an International Baccalaureate Diploma and a High School Diploma from Trinity High School, and participated in the Girls Who Code program in 2018.
