Alexandra Alvarez

Alexandra Alvarez currently serves as Associate General Counsel for Payments & Regulatory at Rippling, a position held since October 2023. Prior to this role, Alexandra was General Counsel at Finix from July 2021 to September 2023 and held multiple positions at Google between January 2019 and July 2021, including Product Counsel and Associate Product Counsel for Payments. Alexandra's experience also includes roles at Affirm, Inc. as Product Counsel, Compliance Counsel, and Contract Attorney from February 2015 to January 2019, where assistance was provided to the General Counsel. Earlier in career, Alexandra was a Staff Attorney for the California Monitor Program (August 2013 - October 2014), advising on bank compliance with the National Mortgage Settlement, and served as a Pro Bono Volunteer for Kids in Need of Defense, representing an unaccompanied minor in immigration court. Alexandra's educational background includes a Juris Doctor from UC Irvine and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University.
