Turid Herland

Turid Herland has a diverse work experience in the field of security analysis and engineering. Turid currently holds the position of Senior Security Analyst at Riscure since June 2022. Prior to that, Turid worked as a Senior Security Consultant at TurtleSec AS from November 2021 to March 2022. Turid also gained experience as a Technical System Specialist, specifically in encryption, at Thales Norway AS from March 2019 to October 2021. Turid has also worked as a Senior Security Engineer at NAGRA from January 2018 to February 2019, and as a Senior Security Analyst at Conax from June 2013 to December 2017. Their early work experience includes a role as a Senior Engineer at Nasjonal sikkerhetsmyndighet from January 2007 to April 2013.

Turid Herland obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Mathematics and Engineering from Queen's University, which was earned between 2000 and 2004. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Information Security at Gjøvik University College (HiG), which they completed between 2004 and 2006.
