Michelle Nixon

Michelle Nixon has extensive experience in human resources and employee relations, currently serving as the Culture and Inclusion Manager at Rise since March 2023. Prior to this role, Michelle worked as an Employee Relations Consultant at Main Roads Western Australia from January 2004 to April 2022, and as a Human Resources Officer at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA from June 2000 to December 2003, focusing on apprenticeships. Michelle began a career in the industry at Normandy Mining Limited as a Tenements Clerk/Secretary between February 1995 and November 2000, where responsibilities included monitoring tenements and native title claims. Michelle holds a Diploma of Education in Project Management from the Australian Institute of Technology Transfer and bachelor's degrees in Business with a focus on Human Resources and Management from Chisholm Catholic College and Edith Cowan University.
