Sarah Key

Sarah Key is an experienced professional in the baking and food science industries, currently serving as the Director of New Product Development at Rise Baking Company since June 2021. Previously, Sarah held positions at Brill, Inc. as the Innovation R&D Manager, where oversight of sweet ingredients and bakery categories was a key responsibility, and managed a team of three scientists and a 3D printing specialist. At CSM Bakery Solutions, Sarah was the R&D Manager/Scientist, focusing on new product development for sweet ingredients and leading a team of junior technologists. Earlier experience includes roles as Senior Food Technologist at Schwans Bakery Inc. and Associate Food Technologist at New Horizons Baking Company. Sarah holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science from Purdue University and an Associate’s Degree in Baking and Pastry Arts from Johnson & Wales University.
