Emilio Gomizelj

Emilio Gomizelj is a Partner at Rise Capital, an investment firm dedicated to supporting Internet-enabled businesses in Emerging Markets, having joined in October 2017 after being invited by Founder Nazar Yasin as a part-time Venture Partner in October 2016. Emilio has extensive experience as an independent consultant since January 2001, advising small and medium-sized companies on processes, systems implementations, and M&A activities. Previously, Emilio served as CFO of Navent Group from June 2010 to February 2016, overseeing various departments and executing M&A transactions. Emilio also held the position of Administrative Vice-President at MercadoLibre.com during its IPO period from March 2003 to December 2007, and worked as Finance Manager at Integralco - Exxel Group and Administrative Manager at Supermercados Norte, contributing to significant growth within the retail sector. Emilio began their career at Pistrelli, Diaz y Asociados (Arthur Andersen) in the banking division. Academic credentials include a Magister in Corporate Finance from Universidad del CEMA and a degree in Public Accounting.
